If you are looking for a web designer/front-end developer to build a complex, interactive website, you have come to the right place.

My main focus is implementing fully functional e-commerce sites.

For example, here is a sophisticated e-commerce site I implemented for a local company: 

After looking at dozens of other platforms, I recommended that the site be built using Volusion, which is ideal for large e-commerce sites.  Importantly, the site is fully PCI-DSS compliant. It also includes real-time UPS, FedEx and USPS international shipping functionality and other complex features.     

Although I am a Volusion affiliate partner, I am not married to any one platform -- I pick the solution that works for the particular client.  If you only sell a few items domestically, you likely may be able to accomplish your goals with a simpler solution. 

Speaking of simple solutions, the following is a static sight I developed from scratch for a nonprofit:

“From scratch” means I did the HTML & CSS coding, the color palette, font stack, layout, graphics, and navigation. I created the picnic-blanket background in Photoshop. I made the logo and promotion button in Illustrator. (There was a bit of cut-and-paste involved with the JavaScript features, however.)

I also build sites using the Joomla CMS (content management system) platform, such as the site you're looking at now.

Numerous organizations have built their websites in the Joomla platform, including IHOP, the Guggenheim Museum the Dominican Republic Ministry of Tourism, and the South Carolina State Library. 

  I also work with other developers.
